Employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are an important component of the security of the country. In order for them to perform their duties effectively, a positive atmosphere should prevail in the team, and employees feel confident and calm.

Psychologists monitor the state of the socio-psychological climate (SPC) in the teams, determine the conditions, causes and factors that contribute to or hinder productive work, provide managers with recommendations on improving the state of the SPC, establishing the optimal mode of work and rest of employees.

In order to unite the teams, specialists of psychological services carry out group and individual psychological activities aimed at improving the efficiency of professional activity, take care of the organization of the working space and the prevention of conflicts and professional burnout. Only a cohesive team, in which a friendly atmosphere reigns, can quickly and efficiently fulfill the tasks and confidently go to a common goal. It is important to remember that the socio-psychological climate in the team is not just a matter of comfort. This is a question of work efficiency.

In particular, to increase the cohesion of the team, psychologists conduct psychological trainings and master classes. Specialists of psychological support units pay considerable attention to the development of training programs on the following topics:

Self-improvement. Psychologists help participants to better understand themselves, their emotions, needs and goals, this contributes to the development of self-awareness.

Development of skills. Participants learn new skills and tools to manage stress, interact with others, learn how to resolve conflicts, and overcome other life challenges.

Emotional development. Psychologists teach participants to better understand and control emotions, which contributes to psychological resilience.

Establishing interpersonal interaction in professional communication. Participants learn to value themselves, their achievements and respect the work of colleagues. An understanding is formed that the devaluation of the work of colleagues negatively affects the relationship in the team.
