The public can represent their interests and influence the implementation of the powers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine through the use of public participation tools and mechanisms normalized by legislation.
The section of the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine “For the public”, structured in accordance with the existing procedures, is designed to facilitate these processes.
The section provides for the implementation of the norms of the Constitution of Ukraine and the Law of Ukraine “On the Appeal of Citizens” in order to provide citizens of Ukraine with the opportunity to participate in the management of state and public affairs and influence the improvement of the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, defend their rights and legitimate interests and restore them in case of violation.
In accordance with the procedure defined by the Law of Ukraine “On Access to Public Information”, the rubric is a tool for realizing the right of everyone to access information, which is managed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and ensuring transparency and openness in the activities of the department.
The rubric is systematically filled with information in accordance with the Procedure for public consultations on the formation and implementation of state policy, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 3, 2010 No. 996, in order to establish a systematic dialogue of the Ministry of Internal Affairs with the public, improve the quality of preparation of decisions taking into account public opinion, creating conditions for the participation of citizens in the development of drafts of such solutions.
In the manner determined by the Standard Provisions on the Public Council under the Ministry, another central executive body, the Council of Ministers of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, regional, Kyiv and Sevastopol city, district, district in etc. Kyiv and Sevastopol State Administration, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 3, 2010 No. 996, the heading covers the activities of the temporary consultative and advisory body under the Ministry of Internal Affairs during the formation of its composition and during the term of its activity.
The section is intended to highlight the application of such a component mechanism of democratic state management as public examination of the activities of executive bodies, which involves conducting by civil society institutions, public councils to evaluate the activities of executive bodies, the effectiveness of their decision-making and implementation, preparation of proposals for solutions of socially significant importance problems for their consideration by executive authorities in their work. The filling of the rubric is carried out in accordance with the Procedure for facilitating public examination of the activities of executive bodies, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated November 5, 2008. № 976.
Rubric, the purpose of which is to promote the creation of favorable conditions for the development of public initiative and self-organization in society, the formation and activity of civil society institutions and the establishment of partnership between them and the Ministry of Internal Affairs. It is filled in accordance with the activities carried out within the framework of the current implementation plan of the National Strategy for the Promotion of Civil Society Development in Ukraine:
