The parties discussed further steps to implement the tasks arising from the new Law of Ukraine on National Security.
Recall that in 2017, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine together with NATO experts worked out three new goals of further partnership - gender policy, cyber protection, planning and budgeting. Considering the coordinating role of the Ministry in ensuring the further promotion of the reforms of the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system involved in the implementation of the objectives of the PPOS, as well as in order to ensure sustainable strategic guidance in the implementation of the specified Partnership Goals, it was decided last year to involve the Ministry of Internal Affairs in cooperation in the mentioned format — in dual status the direct executor of the Partnership Goals defined for the Ministry, and as a coordinator of the implementation of the Partnership Goals by the bodies of the Ministry of Internal Affairs system.
