In Nikolaev police seized from dealers about 2700 bookmarks with drugs and psychotropic drugs worth more than 750 thousand hryvnias
The woman worked in an online store created in the messenger channel, and acted as a bookmark master. She received goods by mail from logistics companies, and then made wholesale bookmarks around the city for small booksellers. According to preliminary calculations, the earnings of the attacker for a month could reach 100 thousand hryvnias.
On June 18, the officers of the Drug Crime Prevention Office and investigators of the Ingul Police Department under the procedural guidance of the Nikolaev local prosecutor's office № 2 held a 30-year old resident of Nikolaev in a rented apartment, who carried out illegal contactless sales of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances by laying dock, authorized search.
Said apartment was used by the intruder as a warehouse of an online store. For the conspiracy, the woman systematically changed the location of the warehouse and her mobile phone number.
During the search, the police seized about 2,700 bookmarks of narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances. Previously, it is amphetamine, methamphetamine, A-PVP, LSD, MDMA and cannabis, the cost of which at “black market” prices is almost 750 thousand hryvnias. In addition, the cellular means and start packages of various mobile operators have been removed.
Everything removed will be sent to research. After the expert's conclusion, the issue of bringing the dealer to criminal responsibility under Part 3 of Art. 3 will be decided. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues” and the choice of a preventive measure. The sanction of the article provides for nine to twelve years imprisonment with confiscation of property.
