Police officers of Cherkasy region exposed ethnic group of drug users
The attackers organized and established a network for the sale of narcotic and psychotropic substances in the territory of the region.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations of the Cherkasy region, investigators of the regional police under the procedural guidance of the prosecutor's office of Cherkasy region with the involvement of the special unit KORD stopped the criminal activity of the group. Police detained the organizer and members of the group, most of whom have family ties to each other.
On Tuesday, June 16, the police conducted a special operation and detained the intruders.
During the arrest, the offenders tried to escape, resisted and injured two KORD employees. In addition, those involved damaged the service car of special forces.
As a result of a number of sanctioned searches, law enforcement officers seized more than a kilogram of narcotic substances, hemp plants, packaging and weighting agents of narcotic substances.
The defendants of the case are detained in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
The issue of notifying all members of the criminal group of suspicions under Part 3 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
A decision is also made to enter into the EHRD materials under Article 345 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the fact of causing light or moderate bodily injuries to law enforcement officers in connection with the performance of official duties.
