Robbery of a company and drug trafficking: Western ATO guards continue to detain offenders

During the week, military uniforms for the protection of public order of the military units of the Western Operational Territorial Association of the National Guard of Ukraine on suspicion of committing a crime detained 48 people, brought 453 citizens to administrative responsibility and seized 72 grams of narcotic substances.

In Lviv, during a patrol, the national guards found two boxes of cigarettes stuffed with bundles of pink crystalline substance, similar to narcotic, from a citizen. The total weight of 21 bundles and the substance was about 10 grams.

An investigative and operational team was directed to the scene.

On the evening of June 13, in Khmelnitsky, one of the military outfits received a message that in the branch of the fast money lending company, an unknown man, threatening a cashier with a knife, seized the funds that were in the cash register and disappeared.

Immediately arriving at the place of call, the patrolmen received information from the cashier about the amount of stolen funds, amounting to UAH 26,000, and signs of the robber. After immediately examining the surrounding area together with the police crew, they found a local resident who, having witnessed the incident, caught up with and detained the criminal.

He turned out to be a 41-year-old, previously convicted resident of the city of Odessa, who was wanted by the Primorsky police department of the GUNP of the Odessa region for theft. Stolen funds and a knife were found near the place of detention.

An investigative task force was called to the scene to carry out investigative actions. The detainee is incriminated by Article 187 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

During the patrol of the city of Uzhgorod, the servicemen of the 3rd Battalion of the 2nd Galician Brigade found a bundle of foil in which there was a crushed substance of plant origin, an approximate weight of 8 grams. The guards sent an investigative and operational team to the scene.
