This was stated by the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in his address.

“Dear Pavlograd residents, the country's leadership has chosen several priority areas, and one of them is the fight against terrorism. That is why the Minister of Internal Affairs personally flew to Pavlograd, confirming the priority of the tasks set by the President of Ukraine. I will not waste time discussing the involvement of people and I will not talk about corrupt law enforcement without honor, I want to concentrate on work. We have sent the best employees to identify criminal groups. In the near future you will see the results of our work. I want to ask you to participate in person: report all the facts of drug trafficking. By joining together, we will overcome this problem and permanently repel the desire of abusers to profit from young people who have chosen the wrong way of life. And to those who have neglected conscience and honor, I will say one thing, let us reap all, wherever you hide. Because honor is above all!”, - asked Oleksandr Gogilashvili.

Earlier, the Minister of Internal Affairs stressed that his deputy Oleksandr Gogilashvili will separately coordinate the issue of combating drug crime in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Recall that on June 4, employees of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU, the State Bureau of Investigation and the Security Service of Ukraine stopped the activities of the criminal group, which was organized by the head of the Pavlograd Police Department.

According to the preliminary version of the investigation, the head of the police department together with his subordinates decided to artificially increase the indicators of operational-search activity, for which they falsified the materials of criminal proceedings. The attackers, in particular, intimidated and tortured suspects to obtain “necessary” evidence, fabricated falsified artificial evidence for further detection and rapid investigation of non-existent
crimes. Thus, during more than 20 searches, special service personnel seized materials of falsified criminal proceedings, means for
torture and other evidence confirming the criminal activities of police officers.

As part of the criminal proceedings initiated under Part 3 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 365, Part 2 of Article 307, Part 2 of Article 372, Part 2 of Article 383, p. 255 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, law enforcement officers detained seven members of the group, in particular the head of the Pavlograd Police Department.

Arsen Avakov held a meeting at the Pavlograd Police Department. In the near future, it is expected to be reformatted and serviced checks.
