Life without barriers: two more trainees of the Driving School for Persons with Disabilities received driver's licenses
Service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs support and promote the implementation of such opportunities for every Ukrainian, because all citizens should receive barrier-free access to public services.
Sergey and Alexey realized their long-held dream — to drive a car. Each of them has its own life story. But despite the fact that due to injuries they have a violation of the musculoskeletal system, these are very active people. They have many daily chores that require mobility. They successfully completed training and passed exams at the service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the city of Dnipro. Now they have a driver's license and are ready to conquer new horizons.
The service centers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs support the flagship project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Driving schools for people with disabilities”, which is implemented within the framework of the initiative “Without barriers”, presented by First Lady of Ukraine Elena Zelenska and Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Ekaterina Pavlichenko.
