Bohdan Drapyaty stated this during an international meeting with representatives of the KMES - the civilian mission of the Common Security and Defense Policy (CSDP) of the European Union, discussing the needs and goals of the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs noted that as a result of the aggression of the Russian Federation and the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, thousands of people lost limbs and received disability. Therefore, already now the department is working to provide such persons with high-quality education, in particular in driving schools. Bohdan Drapyaty expressed hope in the transfer to Ukraine of special cars on which people with disabilities will be trained to drive.

The representative of the delegation of the Consultative Mission of the European Union Konrad Woodtke expressed support for such an initiative and stressed that all possible efforts will be made on the part of the KMES to transfer special vehicles for the disabled to the Main Service Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine as soon as possible.

Bohdan Drapyaty also shared the results of a working trip in order to exchange experience in the Netherlands. He noted that there is an effective online car registration service and expressed hope for the launch of such a system in Ukraine in September as well.

“We want all our services to be of high quality for the population, so we are constantly working on their simplification and improvement,” the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine stressed.

Also during the international meeting, Bohdan Drapyaty said that Ukraine plans to approve a training plan for driving school examiners, taking such experience from the Netherlands.

“Training for those who test future drivers is an important component for their development and professional development. Therefore, by mid-September, we must already approve the plans for their training in higher educational institutions,” the Deputy Minister stressed.

Konrad Woodtke expressed support in the work of the department and in particular of the Main Service Center, stressing that for the KMES the priority is to provide assistance to Ukraine and cooperation to develop services for the population.
