Driving schools for people with disabilities: the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has agreed on cooperation and exchange of experience with New Zealand

The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine met with the Minister of Disability of New Zealand Priyanka Radhakrishnan. She, by the way, heads the youngest ministry in this country, he is only about a year old.

During the meeting, they discussed a significant increase in the number of people with disabilities in Ukraine, due to Russian aggression. Also Kateryna Pavlichenko spoke about the project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs “Driving schools for people with disabilities”.

“We agreed on the exchange of findings on the work of such driving schools, as well as certification and re-selection of cars. In addition, we plan to exchange methods for studying the needs of people with disabilities. This is an important issue for establishing work with injured veterans,” the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs said.
