The educational course “Barrier-free literacy” was developed by the Ministry of Digital Transformation at the initiative of the First Lady Elena Zelenska, in partnership with the Office of the Adviser - Commissioner of the President of Ukraine on Barriers Issues, the National Agency of Ukraine on Civil Service, the NGO “Barrierlessness” and the Program Development of the United Nations in Ukraine.
The educational series consists of six series.
This course talks about:
- the reasons for the formation of stereotypes towards barrierlessness and inclusion;
- tools to avoid bias;
- rules for compliance with the principles of barrier-free communication;
- willingness to avoid barriers;
- the needs of society for barrier-free access;
- Barrierlessness is a common cause.
