General conditions

Official duties

ensures timely and high-quality implementation of planned activities and analysis of their effectiveness;

collects and systematizes information on crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking to inform the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs;

provides prompt information to the management of the department and the Office about crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking, which can cause significant public resonance;

conducts a systematic analysis of the activities of the central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on the issues of participation in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking. Makes proposals for timely detection of negative trends and measures to eliminate them;

develops draft orders, decisions of meetings of the management of the Department, committees of the Ministry and other documents on the areas of activity;

provides, within its competence, cooperation with bodies and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, other law enforcement agencies that carry out activities in the field of combating drug crime, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, public associations, other organizations involved in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking means;

studies international experience and develops proposals for the formation of public policy in the field of combating drug crime;

participates in the preparation of reports, draft public policy documents, analytical, informational, reference and other materials on issues related to the competence of the department;

participates in monitoring the effectiveness of measures to combat drug crime in Ukraine and the world.

ensures interaction in accordance with the division of responsibilities with the departments and institutions involved in the implementation of the state policy to combat drug crime

Terms of pay

official salary — UAH 10,600;

allowances, surcharges, bonuses and compensation in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”;

increase to the official salary for the rank of civil servant in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017 No. 15 “The issue of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (as amended)

Information about the duration or indefinite duration of the appointment to the position

indefinitely;

the term of appointment of a person who has reached the age of 65 is one year with the right of re-appointment without the obligatory holding of a competition annually

List of information required to participate in the competition and the deadline for its submission

1) application for participation in the competition indicating the main reasons for taking up the position according to the form in accordance with Appendix 2 of the Procedure for holding a tender for public service positions, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of March 25, 2016 No. 246 (as amended);

2) a summary in the form in accordance with Annex 2 1, in which the following ^information is necessarily indicated:

surname, first name, patronymic of the candidate;

details of the document certifying the identity and confirming the citizenship of Ukraine;

confirmation of the availability of an appropriate degree of higher education;

confirmation of the level of fluency in the state language;

information about work experience, civil service experience (if available), work experience in relevant positions in the relevant field defined in the competition, and in managerial positions (if applicable);

3) a statement informing that it is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Purge of Power”, and gives consent to the inspection and to the disclosure of information about it in accordance with the said Law.
