In case of violation of human rights and citizen's rights, everyone can apply to the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for human rights.
This is a person who exercises parliamentary control over the observance of constitutional rights and freedoms of man and citizen in Ukraine. Currently, since 2022, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Commissioner for Human Rights is Dmytro Lubinets.

The Ombudsman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on Human Rights is also called the Ombudsman of Ukraine.
