Chief Specialist of the Department of Analysis of Current Activities and Control of the Department for Ensuring the Formation of State Policy in the Field of Combating Drug Crime of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, category “B”

Official duties

1. Provides timely and high-quality implementation of planned activities and analysis of their effectiveness.

2. Collects and systematizes information on crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking to inform the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

3. Provides prompt information to the management of the department and the Department about crimes in the field of illicit drug trafficking, which can cause a significant public resonance.

4. Conducts a systematic analysis of the activities of the central executive bodies, whose activities are directed and coordinated by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine through the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, on participation in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking. Makes proposals for timely detection of negative trends and measures to eliminate them.

5. Develops draft orders, decisions of meetings of the management of the Department, committees of the Ministry and other documents on the areas of activity.

6. Provides, within its competence, cooperation with bodies and divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, other law enforcement agencies that carry out activities in the field of combating drug crime, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, public associations, other organizations involved in the implementation of state policy in the sphere of drug trafficking.

7. He studies international experience and develops proposals for the formation of public policy in the field of combating drug crime.

8. Participates in the preparation of reports, draft public policy documents, analytical, information, reference and other materials on issues related to the competence of the department.

9. Participates in monitoring the effectiveness of measures to combat drug crime in Ukraine and the world.

10. Provides interaction in accordance with the distribution of responsibilities with the departments and institutions involved in the implementation of state policy to combat drug crime.

Terms of pay

Official salary according to the staffing table in the amount of 10,600 hryvnias.

Increase to the official salary by rank in accordance with the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of January 18, 2017. No. 15 “Issues of remuneration of employees of state bodies” (with amendments).

Other allowances, surcharges and bonuses — in accordance with Article 52 of the Law of Ukraine “On Civil Service”

Information about the term of appointment to the position

For the period of quarantine established by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and until the date of determination of the winner by the head of the public service according to the results of competitive selection in accordance with the legislation

A person wishing to participate in the selection for appointment to a vacant position shall submit the following information through the Unified State Service Vacancies Portal:

1) a statement indicating the main reasons for taking office in the form in accordance with Appendix 1 to the Procedure for Appointment to Public Service Positions for the period of quarantine established in order to prevent the spread in Ukraine of the acute respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers Law of Ukraine dated April 22, 2020 No. 290 (hereinafter referred to as the Order);

2) a resume in the form in accordance with Appendix 2 to the Procedure;

3) a statement informing that it is not subject to the prohibitions specified in the third or fourth part of Article 1 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Purge of Power”, and gives consent to the inspection and to the disclosure of information about it in accordance with the said Law.

Appendices to the application are not mandatory for submission.
