In accordance with Articles 9, 13 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Principles of State Regulatory Policy in the Field of Economic Activity” (hereinafter — the Law), we announce the publication on September 29, 2020 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (www.mvs.gov.ua) of the revised draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the License Conditions for the Conduct of Economic Activities for the Production and Repair of Non-Military Firearms and Ammunition for it, Cold Weapons, Pneumatic Weapons of Caliber Over 4.5 mm and a bullet flying speed of more than 100 meters per second, trade in non-military firearms and ammunition therefor, cold weapons, pneumatic weapons of caliber over 4.5 millimeters and a bullet flight speed of more than 100 meters per second; production of special equipment charged with tear substances offensive and annoying actions, personal protection, active defense and their sale” (hereinafter referred to as the draft resolution).
The draft resolution has been amended taking into account the comments and suggestions of the interested bodies.
The draft resolution was developed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in order to bring the License Terms in accordance with the Law of Ukraine of October 02, 2019 No. 139-IX “On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on Improving the Procedure for Licensing Business Activities”. The adoption of the draft resolution will contribute to bringing the regulatory act into line with the legislation, improving its provisions, defining clear, understandable, unambiguous for application by the licensing authority and execution by the licensee, the conditions for starting and conducting economic activities in the relevant field by the licensee.
