Over the weekend, 17 fake certificates of negative PCR test result were found at the administrative border with Crimea

False documents were discovered at the entry-exit checkpoint “Kalanchak”, located on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea.

Over the past weekend, border guards of the Kherson detachment at the “Kalanchak” entry-exit checkpoint, located on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied Crimea, during the inspection of documents, found fake certificates of negative PCR test result in 17 citizens of Ukraine.

On the detection of signs of a criminal offense stipulated by Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine “Counterfeiting documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps”, the servicemen informed representatives of the National Police.

In two more citizens of Ukraine, border guards found partially forged passport documents, in which their owners personally cleaned and corrected the constituent data.

We remind you that in accordance with the Criminal Code of Ukraine, the use of a knowingly forged document is punishable by a fine of up to 50 taxable minimum incomes of citizens or arrest for up to 6 months, or restriction of liberty for up to two years.
