Internal security: in Chernihiv expatriate organized a group of drug dealers
A former employee of the Chernihiv police, after his dismissal from the service, went into criminal business - the production and sale of amphetamine. In criminal cooperation, he attracted acquaintances with whom he distributed drugs in the territory of Kyiv and Chernihiv regions.
Operators of the Chernihiv department of the Department of Internal Security of the NPU established data on the sale of drugs by a group of persons, the organizer of which is a former law enforcement officer. The police officer was dismissed from service in the internal affairs bodies at the end of 2015.
For illegal enrichment, the man gathered accomplices and set up the manufacture and further sale of amphetamine on the territory of Chernihiv and Kyiv region. The 28-year-old leader of the group personally prepared the psychotropic substance in a private house, distributed it among his sellers, and sold some of it to customers himself.
In addition, it was established that the members of the criminal group gathered in the garage room and in the jewelry workshop, which belong to the family of one of the accused. In these premises, the offenders packed drugs, became addicted to drugs and used them themselves.
Employees of the internal security of the NPU and the investigative department of the GUNP in the Chernihiv region, within the framework of the initiated criminal proceedings, conducted operational purchases.
In sanctioned searches of the places of residence of dealers, addresses of the locations of drug dispensaries and places of sale, law enforcement officers seized a significant number of precursors, a newly manufactured batch of amphetamine - 200 grams, marijuana, pills and capsules, equipment and inventory, weights and packages bags, as well as office equipment, mobile phones, “rough” records, 58,000 hryvnias, 2,000 US dollars and almost 1,000 euros.
Suspicion under Part 2 of Art has already been reported. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to the organizer and the 28-year-old implementer. A petition has been submitted to the court for the election of preventive measures. In order to bring to justice other members of the exposed group, further investigative actions are ongoing. Procedural management is carried out by the Chernihiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
