During the past week, the police launched 172 criminal proceedings on the facts of falsification of Covid documents
22 criminal proceedings under Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine on the commission of 34 criminal offenses were sent to the court. This was announced by First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Yevgeny Yenin.
In addition, 13 searches were carried out in Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kharkiv, Zakarpattia, Mykolaiv regions and in the city. Kyiv.
“Three medical workers came under the watchful eye of law enforcement. Their offices were searched. They also visited a travel agency in Kharkiv, which offered to get fake PCR tests. In total, 61 fake PCR tests, 54 vaccination certificates and certificates were seized. In one case, dealers simply offered their services in the comments on Instagram. Well, and of course, our law enforcement officers responded to this proposal. As it turned out, an ordinary private entrepreneur was looking for clients and acted according to a preliminary conspiracy with the family doctor of the “Center for Primary Health Care” of the Uzhgorod City Council. For UAH 2,700, they offered to forge a certificate with the possibility of entering it into the “Action”, - the First Deputy Minister said.
According to Yevgeny Yenin, law enforcement officers also monitor Telegram channels on a daily basis.
“For example, fraudsters were exposed in Kharkiv who, on behalf of the laboratory of LLC “ON Lab”, through a messenger, offered paper certificates in the regions of Ukraine about a negative PCR test result for COVID-19. All of them were detained and reported on suspicion,” he said.
