In Lviv region, a police helicopter took two seriously injured citizens to the hospital

Aeromedical evacuation is carried out within the framework of the project, which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.

Yesterday, October 24, around 12.30, near the village of Rudenko, Chervonograd district, an accident occurred. The driver of the Opel Astra, a 33-year-old resident of Radekhiv, did not take into account the road situation and collided with a concrete pillar. As a result of the accident, the driver of the “Opel” and his passenger, a 37-year-old resident of the Chervonograd region, received serious bodily injuries.

A man with a head injury and massive bleeding was urgently transported by a police helicopter Airbus Helicopters H-145 to the Lviv City Emergency Medical Hospital. After passing the patient to doctors, the helicopter immediately returned for the injured woman, who had internal bleeding and spinal trauma. She was promptly delivered to Lviv.

Thanks to the project of aeromedical evacuation, which is carried out by specialists of the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Assistance and Disaster Medicine, for almost a month, patients with serious injuries or in critical condition have been quickly transported to medical institutions by police helicopter - generally feasible o 17 rescue missions.

In these minutes, the helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Airbus Helicopters H-145 delivered to Lviv another patient in serious condition — a 74-year-old resident of Brody with myocardial infarction.
