Aeromedical evacuation in Lviv region: in one day a police helicopter delivered four patients in critical condition to the regional center
Today, January 24, the helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Airbus Helicopters H-145 delivered several patients from different parts of Lviv region to Lviv Emergency Medical Hospital.
First, the helicopter transported a 64-year-old resident of the city of Chervonograd with an acute myocardial infarction to Lviv, after which it immediately flew to one of the villages of the Stryi district and took on board a 49-year-old man with acute cerebral circulation disorder.
After lunch, two more aeromedical evacuations were carried out. Thus, a 73-year-old man with pneumothorax was transported from Drohobych to the Lviv Regional Phthisio-Pulmonological Center, after which a 55-year-old man with acute myocardial infarction was taken from the clinic of the city of Mostyska by a helicopter.
Rescue missions were carried out by specialists of the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine within the framework of a joint project of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
