Law enforcement officers established that the 18-year-old was engaged in the cultivation of drug-containing plants and their processing for the purpose of their further sale in the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Investigative activities at the site in Verkhnodniprovsky district took place on September 29 with the participation of employees of the Department for Combating Drug Crimes in the Dnipropetrovsk region and the investigating GUNP in the Dnipropetrovsk region. Procedural management was carried out by the regional prosecutor's office.
During a search of the property, the police found more than 50 elite cannabis bushes, equipped with a drip irrigation system, treated and cared for. Also in the house used by the young man, law enforcement officers seized about 2 kg of cannabis, a smoking device and a traumatic pistol with signs of recycling 9 mm caliber with cartridges.
The removed plants are sent for examination.
