Two men in the territory of Nikopol district have equipped a laboratory for the production of methamphetamine, methadone and alpha-PVP. Psychotropics sold on the territory of the Dnipropetrovsk region via the Internet.
Investigators of the regional police of Dnipropetrovsk region, together with employees of the Department of Security Service of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region, under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of the Dnipropetrovsk region, exposed the illegal activities of drug seekers. During the pre-trial investigation, law enforcement officers established that two 24-year-old residents of the city organized an illegal business. Dnipro. In one of the villages of the Nikopol district, a drug laboratory was equipped, where psychotropics were manufactured and packaged. As the police found out, men sold psychotropic substances through the Internet in the entire region.
On February 7 and 8, law enforcement officers conducted searches at the location of the laboratory and the place of residence of the defendants. During the investigation, the police seized equipment for the manufacture of psychotropic substances, more than 400 canisters with various psychotropic substances, more than 20 thousand US dollars and more than 20 thousand hryvnias, more than 18 kg of crystalline psychotropic substance, bank cards, laptops, mobile phones, flash media and rough records, which confirms criminal activities of drug addicts. At “black market” prices, the value of the seized substances is almost 5 million hryvnias.
The seized physical evidence was sent for examination. The defendants were detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
On February 8, the investigators, in agreement with the prosecutor's office, were informed of the suspicion of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 3 of Art. 307 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) and part 3 of Art. 311 (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation or shipment of precursors) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. A petition for men to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention was sent to the court. The investigation is ongoing.
