Draft Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Procedure for State Registration (Re-registration), Deregistration of Cars, Buses, as well as Self-Propelling Machines Designed on the Chassis of Cars, Motorcycles

We inform you about the publication on January 21, 2021 on the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine of the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine “On Amendments to the Procedure for State Registration (Re-registration), Deregistration of cars, buses, as well as self-propelled vehicles designed on the chassis of cars, bicycles of all types, brands and models, trailers, semi-trailers, motorcycles, other vehicles and mopeds equivalent to them” (hereinafter referred to as the draft resolution): https://mvs.gov.ua/uk/ministry/normativna-baza-mvs/proekti-normativnix-aktiv/projekt-postanovi-kmu-pro-vnesennya-zmin-do-poryadku-derzavnoyi-rejestraciyi-pererejestraciyi-znyattya-z-obliku-avtomobiliv-avtobusiv-a-takoz-samoxidnix-masin.

The draft resolution is developed with the aim of normalizing the mechanism of relations, optimizing, accessibility and simplification of obtaining the service for state registration of new cars, buses, motorcycles and mopeds of all types, brands and models, self-propelled vehicles designed on the chassis of cars, trailers and semi-trailers to them, motorcycles, other vehicles equivalent to them.

The draft resolution proposes to establish a clear and understandable mechanism for implementing the participation of business entities in the registration of new vehicles.

This will allow, at the request of buyers of new vehicles, to obtain vehicle registration documents and license plates directly at the premises of the business entity from which such a vehicle was purchased.
