Transcarpathian police officers referred cases of falsification of COVID documents by employees of Mukachevo City Council to court

Transcarpathian police have sent for trial two more criminal proceedings concerning the use of forged Covid documents.
This is a case when two employees of Mukachevo City Council submitted knowingly fake COVID-19 vaccination certificates to the personnel department.
During the pre-trial investigation, police investigators found that the defendants illegally acquired forged documents, paying for each 1500 hryvnia. At the same time, women did not undergo any medical manipulations.
Employees of Mukachevo district police department are currently directly establishing the person who made the fake. The defendants themselves refuse to explain where exactly they acquired the fake document.
Under the procedural guidance of the Mukachevo District Prosecutor's Office, Mukachevka was informed of the suspicion of committing the crime stipulated in Part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, that is, the use of a knowingly forged document. The materials of the criminal proceedings with the indictment have already been directed for trial.
The accused faces a fine of up to two years of restriction of liberty.
