Soldiers of the National Guard began preparations for the parade of troops on the runway of SP “Antonov”
On August 3, the first rehearsal of ceremonial calculations for the parade of troops on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence Day of Ukraine took place. Thousands of servicemen and personnel of law enforcement agencies gathered on the runway of the State Enterprise “Antonov”. The foot column of the erected parade calculations of the National Guard will be represented at once by 4 “boxes”: servicemen of the special training battalion “Honor
Guard”, canine unit with service dogs, cadets of the National Academy and the consolidated orchestra of the National Guard of Ukraine.
“I am very proud that it was me and my brothers who had the opportunity to participate in such a grandiose event in the life of our country. We carefully prepare for the parade, honing each movement to the ideal. Because it is a very important and responsible mission — to represent the face of the National Guard of Ukraine,” Vladislav Hrytsenko, a soldier of military unit 3027, shared his impressions.
It is assumed that this year the ceremonial calculations will pass Khreshchatyk with a new structural step, which they have already easily mastered. The main difference was that now the leg during movement needs to be raised by 10-15 cm.
As a result of the rehearsal, the parade calculation of the “Honor Guard” battalion was recognized as the most prepared unit among all participants in the parade.
