With the help of false medical documentation, the offenders tried to avoid mandatory self-isolation, but during the check they were stopped by border guards. Now for what they have done, they face up to two years of restriction of their freedom.

The employees of the Solomensky Police Department received a message that at the territory of the airport “Zhuliany” five persons were found vaccination documents that may contain signs of forgery, namely, when scanning the QR code, information about the vaccination of citizens was not displayed. To clarify the circumstances, an investigative and operational team arrived on the scene.

The police found out that the certificates that the violators presented to the border guards were not actually issued by medical institutions. The attackers provided fake vaccination certificates, although they were not actually vaccinated. In this way, they aimed to avoid mandatory self-isolation when they returned home from a trip. The defendants are previously unconvicted residents of the capital and Kyiv region, 1967, 1986, 1990, 1991 and 2000 years of birth.

The investigator of the Solomian Police Department, in agreement with the district prosecutor's office, informed the offenders about the suspicion of committing criminal offenses provided for in Part 4 and Part 1 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine of up to fifty taxable minimum incomes of citizens or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to two years.
