In Dnipro, police detained a family doctor while receiving illegal benefits for issuing COVID certificates
For entering information in the register about the alleged vaccination of nine citizens, the man demanded 25 thousand hryvnia.
On November 8, investigators of the police department No. 1 of the Dnipro district police department together with the employees of the USBU in the Dnipropetrovsk region detained the defendant while receiving part of the money, in the amount of 12,500 hryvnias.
During the search, law enforcement officers seized money and other physical evidence indicating the illegal activities of the man.
The suspect was detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
On November 9, the investigators, in agreement with the Livoberezhnaya District Prosecutor's Office of the city of Dnipro, were informed of the suspicion of committing a criminal offense under Part 3 of Art. 368 (Obtaining an illegal benefit by an official) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The pre-trial investigation continues.
