In Berdyansk, investigators announced the suspicion of two representatives of the travel agency in faking PCR tests for COVID-19

For the actions committed, the defendants face up to 5 years in prison. Investigative actions are underway to identify all persons who used the services of the company and used forged documents, because criminal liability is also provided for such actions.

Recall: On November 8, 2021, within the framework of open criminal proceedings on the grounds of a criminal offense provided for in Part 3 of Article 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigators together with district police officers of the Berdyansk district police department of the GUNP in Zaporizhzhya region conducted an authorized search of the premises office of one of the travel agencies of Berdyansk and seized 5 fake COVID certificates, in which their validity date (72 hours) did not correspond to the date of manufacture.

During the pre-trial investigation, it was established that representatives of the travel agency, understanding that certificates of passing a laboratory study (examination) for the presence of a person with a disease - COVID-19 are issued by licensed institutions (laboratories), which must have a license for medical practice, guided by a selfish motive for monetary reward sold fake certificates to customers about the passage of a laboratory study (examination) for the presence/absence of the disease - coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19).

At present, the investigators of the Berdyansk district police department under the procedural guidance of the district prosecutor's office announced the suspicion of committing a criminal offense provided for in Part 3 of Article 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seal stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigative actions are underway to identify all persons who used the services of the company and used forged documents, because criminal liability is also provided for such actions.
