Former deputy Nadiya Savchenko and her sister Vera were handed over suspicion of using fake COVID certificates with which they tried to enter Ukraine.

This was announced today, October 29, by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Denis Monastyrsky on his Facebook page.

“Anyone who violates the law should be prepared to be held accountable! Regardless of whether you are a Hero of Ukraine, an ex-deputy, or just a citizen,” Denis Monastyrsky stressed.

According to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, during the current week alone, law enforcement officers initiated 59 criminal proceedings for falsifying the results of PCR tests and certificates of vaccination against coronavirus. Across the country, special mobile teams are operating to verify COVID certificates and PCR tests for authenticity. Border guards use special equipment that detects such fake documents.

Denis Monastyrsky urged citizens not to buy fake vaccination certificates and PCR tests.

“Anyone who plans to buy such fake certificates, PCR tests or make a copy of them in specialized programs — remember, one such decision will leave an imprint on your entire future. Think about how many problems there will be with employers who will see that you are doomed before? Not to mention other difficulties that can accompany you through life because of one such decision,” the minister stressed.

Recall, the police prosecute a former deputy for using a fake COVID certificate.
