Border guards and police have exposed a resident of Reni's AHG who was growing drugs
All substances are removed and sent for examination.
Yesterday, within the framework of open criminal proceedings, law enforcement officers carried out sanctioned searches in the household of a 29-year-old resident of Renia AHG. As a result of the measures carried out, the border guards of the Izmail detachment and the police found in the man several dozen cannabis bushes grown in the greenhouse and 200 grams of dried plant matter, probably cannabis.
The police initiated a pre-trial investigation under Articles 309 “Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation or shipment of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues without the purpose of sale” and 310 “Sowing or cultivation of dreamy poppy or hemp” of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. For crimes committed, the offender may go to prison.
The border guards of the Izmail detachment, together with the staff of the Izmail regional police department, continue to carry out measures aimed at stopping drug trafficking in border settlements.
