A police helicopter delivered a pregnant woman to Lviv
Within the framework of the project of aeromedical evacuation, which is jointly implemented by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the twelfth rescue mission of the helicopter of the National Police of Ukraine in Lviv region took place.
Today, on October 19, a police helicopter Airbus Helicopters H-145 delivered a 37-year-old resident of the city of Chervonograd with the threat of premature birth to the Lviv Regional Clinical Perinatal Center.
Thanks to the coordinated and prompt work of specialists of the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine and the Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine, there is now no threat to the health of the woman and the child.
This is the second pregnant woman with the threat of premature birth, saved thanks to the aerodynamic evacuation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. So, on October 16, a pregnant resident of Borislav, who began premature labor, was delivered to Lviv.
Recall that Lviv region has become one of the regions where the project on aeromedical evacuation is being implemented. Patients with serious injuries or in critical condition are delivered to hospitals by police helicopter. Organs for transplantation will also be transported on the helipad.
