A police helicopter delivered an elderly man who fell from a height to Lviv
Today, December 17, the helicopter of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Airbus Helicopters H-145 transported a 70-year-old patient from the village of Korsiv, Zolochiv district, who received severe injuries as a result of a fall from a height, to the Lviv Emergency Medical Hospital.
Specialists of the Aviation Support Center of the National Police of Ukraine and Lviv Regional Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine took part in the rescue mission.
Recall that in March 2021, on the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, the Unified Aeromedical Space was created. It provides for the introduction of a system of aeromedical evacuation of critically ill patients or seriously injured persons, as well as air transportation of organs for transplantation.
Over the past six months, the sanitary aviation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs made 85 flights, on each of which the life and health of citizens depended. There were 38 such flights in Lviv region alone.
