Police of Kharkiv region stopped the activity of an online store selling particularly dangerous drugs
During the sanctioned search, law enforcement officers seized more than a kilogram of the drug PVP, the cost of which on the “black market” is about 250 thousand hryvnias.
Detained the attacker during the sale of 5 grams of the drug. During the pre-trial investigation, investigators of Chuguev RUP established that a 29-year-old resident of Chuguev district for a long time sold narcotic substances under the pseudonym “Santa Claus” via the Internet.
In the framework of criminal proceedings opened under Part 2 of Art. 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, transfer or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, investigators of Chuguev RUP together with employees of the criminal police sector of the prosecution conducted an authorized search at the place of residence of the offender.
During the search, the police found more than a kilogram of the particularly dangerous synthetic substance PVP, kitchen scales, plastic tapes and accessories for packaging narcotic substances. Also during the investigative experiment, the violator showed the places where he hid drugs, from where the police seized more than 40 “bookmarks”. Currently, measures to remove physical evidence are ongoing.
Drugs are directed to expert research.
The attacker is detained in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. He faces from 6 to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property. The pre-trial investigation continues.
