Police of Donetsk region seized a batch of drugs worth 400 thousand hryvnias at “black” market prices
The narcotic substance was discovered during the authorized searches of three residents of Myrnohrad. In total, law enforcement officers seized more than 7 kg of cannabis. Malefactors are prosecuted for the fact of sale.
Employees of the Drug Crime Control Department in Donetsk region of the DBN of the National Police of Ukraine together with the employees of the Criminal Investigation Department and the investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department of the GUNP in Donetsk region with the strong support of the fighters of the special units of KORD and RPOP conducted a number of searches during the operational and preventive exercise of Mirnoye Hrad.
From the 51-year-old resident, police seized 7 kg of cannabis, narcotic pills, acetylated opium, scales and 300 zip bags. Another 38-year-old Mirnograd resident stored marijuana, methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. At the home of the 48-year-old attacker, law enforcement officers found cannabis, 200 ml of hydrochloric acid, a psychotropic substance and paraphernalia for making methamphetamine.
Investigative actions continue under the procedural direction of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office. The defendants are incriminated in Part 2 of Art. 307 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment for a period of six to ten years with confiscation of property.
