Attacks on citizens using potent medical drugs — in Kyiv police detained two participants of inter-ethnic OZH
They detained men in the capital after they committed another robbery attack.
It is known that the organized ethnic criminal group included immigrants from another country. “Specialized” in robberies — attacked citizens on the territory of Kyiv. In this case, potent drugs were used. In order not to attract too much attention and remain unnoticed, the intruders rented accommodation daily. They met their future victims in nightclubs, where potent drugs were added while drinking alcoholic beverages.
Operatives of the Directorate of Strategic Investigations in the city of Kyiv, together with the investigators of the Metropolitan Police under the procedural guidance of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, established three facts of attacks on citizens, as well as the fact of rape.
On August 14, two attackers were detained under the order of Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine immediately after the last committed another crime. During a superficial personal examination, one of the detainees was found with a vial of a medicine.
In addition, the police conducted 4 urgent searches in the vehicles used by the defendants, as well as at the addresses of their temporary residence. As a result, they found and seized: wallets, mobile phones, wristwatches, including name watches, bank cards, bracelets, earrings, rings, chains, medical drug.
Detained members of ethnic OPG have already been informed of suspicion under parts 1, 2, 4 of Article 187 (robbery) and part 3 of Article 152 (rape) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. Yesterday, August 16, the court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the suspects.
Other persons who may be involved in the activities of the criminal group are identified.
