In Volyn, citizens were exposed for using fake international vaccination certificates
In the period from 18 to 20 December, at the checkpoint for international road traffic “Ustylug”, four citizens, in order to exempt themselves from the obligation to stay in self-isolation to prevent the spread of COVID-19, provided the employees of the State Border Service of Ukraine with an international vaccination certificate with obvious signs of forgery.
According to all the facts, the investigators of the Vladimir-Volyn police department entered the information into the Unified Register of Pretrial Investigations under Part 4 of Art. 358 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. We are talking about using a deliberately forged document. The testimonies were seized and sent to the Volyn Research Expert and Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The issue of notifying offenders of suspicion of a committed crime is being resolved.
The sanction of the article provides for a fine of up to fifty taxable minimum incomes of citizens or arrest for up to six months, or restriction of liberty for up to two years. The investigation is ongoing.
