In Vinnytsia region, the police liquidated an organized criminal group, whose members organized the production and sale of drugs
On September 29, the police conducted a special operation involving special equipment of the military unit 3008 of the National Guard of Ukraine. The group included eight residents of the city of Ladyzhin, repeatedly convicted of serious crimes. The police conducted 12 sanctioned searches in them, during which they stopped the activity of the drug laboratory, seized drugs, precursors, weapons, cartridges of various calibers, money obtained by criminal means, bank cards and other material evidence.
The special operation was carried out by employees of the Criminal Investigation Department, Internal Security Department, investigators of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Vinnytsia region with the support of KORD fighters, special purpose companies and national guards.
According to the head of the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Vinnytsia region Ivan Ishchenko, the police documented for several months the criminal activities of the members of the group, who arranged a drug laboratory for the production of amphetamine in the apartment and sold it on the territory of the region. Organized criminal activity — 31-year-old resident of Ladyzhin.
According to operational information, members of the group sold drugs in large quantities to regular customers. Every day they served about two dozen buyers. Income from criminal activities amounted to about half a million hryvnias per month.
During searches of the organizer and other participants, police officers seized amphetamine in particularly large sizes, equipment, precursors and chemical reagents for its manufacture, “rough” records, SIM cards, mobile phones, bank cards, more than 300 thousand cash received from the sale of drugs, three units of weapons, ammunition and other physical evidence of their criminal activities.

The investigation investigates criminal proceedings initiated under Part 2 of Art. 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) and Part 1 of Art. 263 (illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives Substances) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Four members of the criminal group were declared suspects by investigators.
In addition, the actions of offenders are seen signs of crimes provided for in Part 3 of Art. 307 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, transportation, shipment or sale of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues), Part 3 of Article 311 (illegal production, manufacture, acquisition, storage, storage, transportation or shipment of precursors) and Article 313 (abduction, appropriation, seizure of equipment intended for the manufacture of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The defendants of the group face punishment - up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
