In Luhansk region, police opened criminal proceedings on the fact of using a fake vaccination certificate

In one of the shops in the village of Troitske, a woman presented to the police an international certificate of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 with signs of forgery. The withdrawn document is sent for examination, measures are being taken to establish the person who produced the certificate.

So, yesterday, December 7, during a daily patrol to check compliance with quarantine restrictions, in one of the shops of Troitske, a 55-year-old local resident presented an international certificate of vaccination against coronavirus disease COVID-19 with signs of forgery to the community police officer.

The police previously established that in order to be able to ride in public transport, a woman for 300 UAH purchased a fake document from an unknown man in the city. Kupyansk.

According to this fact, the information was entered into the ERDR on the grounds of a criminal offense, provided for in art. 358 (Forgery of documents, seals, stamps and forms, sale or use of forged documents, seals, stamps) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The withdrawn document is sent for examination, measures are being taken to establish the person who produced the certificate.
