Criminal proceedings have been opened in Donetsk region on the fact of obstruction of journalistic activity by the police
During the preparation of the plot, there was a conflict between the television film crew and 43-year-old local residents.
The Pokrovsky district police department received a statement from the director of local television that an unknown person, being intoxicated, prevented the film crew performing their professional duties from carrying out journalistic activities.
Police have identified a man who interfered with journalistic activities. He was a 43-year-old local resident.
According to this fact, the police launched a pre-trial investigation under Art. 171 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obstruction of legal professional activity of journalists). A pre-trial investigation is ongoing.
In addition, in relation to the offender, the police drew up an administrative protocol under Art. 178 “Drinking beer, alcoholic, low-alcohol beverages in places prohibited by law or appearing in public places while intoxicated” of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
