The driver of the Acura car hit a woman and left the scene of a car accident. The offender is found, investigators communicate with him. Criminal proceedings have been initiated.

Today, on August 20, at the intersection of Zhilyanska and Korolenkovskaya streets, in the Holosiivskyi district of Kiev, the driver of the Akura car hit a woman's leg. After hitting the victim, the offender fled the scene.

Police quickly located the driver and located him within a few hours. This is a 33-year-old middle dweller. Police are currently communicating with him and establishing all the circumstances of the incident.

According to this fact, the investigators of the Kiev police opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Art. 286 (Violation of the rules of road safety or operation of vehicles by persons driving vehicles) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of a fine of three thousand to five thousand non-taxable minimum incomes of citizens, correctional labor for up to two years, arrest for up to six months or restriction of liberty for up to three years, with deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of up to three years.
