Compliance with quarantine restrictions: in a month, law enforcement officers conducted more than 91,000 inspections of passenger traffic

In total, since October 21, 2021, the bodies of the National Police of Ukraine carried out 91,165 inspections of regular and irregular passenger transportation of interregional importance. In particular, attention was paid to the availability of vaccination documents, relevant certificate or negative test for COVID-19 by PCR or express antigen test for COVID-19 by PCR or express test for antigen.

Checks were carried out on vehicles — 75 179; at railway stations — 15 181; at airports — 805.

Based on the revealed facts, 704 administrative protocols were drawn up under Part 1 of Art. 44-3 (Violation of the rules on quarantine of people) of the Code of Ukraine on administrative offenses.

Most violations were found in Kyiv region — 216, 83 — in Cherkasy, 67 — in Poltava, 54 — in Sumy, 33 — in Vinnytsia, 28 — in Zaporizhia and Khmelnytsky, 25 — in Odessa, 23 — in Donetsk, 22 — in Luhansk, 21 — in Dnipropetrovsk and Zhytomyr Rovian regions.

In addition, during the verification of compliance with quarantine restrictions, the police found 770 cases of illegal transportation. Therefore, a total of 1066 relevant protocols were compiled - 503 protocols under Art. 164 and 563 - under Art. 140 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
