More than a hundred officers of the National Guard and other military formations became graduates of the Academy of NGU
In the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine, officers of the operational faculty of part-time training took place. 122 officers of the National Guard, Armed Forces and the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine received the diploma of Master of Operational-Tactical Level. Soldiers received the highest level of military education for three years. Training took place in three specialties: State Security, Military Administration (by type of armed forces), Provision of troops (forces). Four officers graduated with gold medals.
The officers were congratulated by the Deputy Commander of the National Guard of Ukraine Lieutenant General Yuriy Lebid, as well as the Acting Head of the Kharkiv National University of the Air Forces named after Ivan Kozhedub, Colonel Mykola Kovalenko.
“I congratulate you on the successful completion of the operational faculty of the Academy. I wish you good health, career growth, timely manifestation of leadership in positions and success during the performance of official duties, - said Lieutenant General Yuriy Lebid. “I emphasize that when making decisions you must realize that you are serving in order for our country to be successful, independent and prospering.”
After congratulatory words, the deputy commander offered all those present to honor with a minute of silence the servicemen who died in the combat zone in eastern Ukraine.
Obtaining a master's level of higher military education is an important step in career growth for each of the officers.
The commander of the battalion for the protection of diplomatic missions and consular institutions of the military unit of the NGU 2260 Lieutenant Colonel Anatoly Simchuk was not the first time a graduate of the Academy of the National Guard. In 2009, the military graduated from the Command and Staff Faculty of the Academy and received the rank of lieutenant.
“It was nice to study again, for three years, in one of the best educational institutions of Ukraine, which provides military education of operational-tactical level,” said Lieutenant Colonel Anatoly Simchuk. - Thank you to the management and the teaching staff of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine. The diploma will give me more opportunities for both professional and personal development.”
The Head of the Department of Provision of the Melitopol Unified Urban Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, Major Vasily Orel, increased his professional level in the specialty of Provision of Troops (Forces).
“Thank you to the management and teachers of the National Academy of the National Guard of Ukraine for the fact that the whole learning process went smoothly,” commented Major Vasyl Orel. - We passed tests, exams, defended the master's thesis, gained the necessary experience, of course, it was not easy, but we with everything I coped. Without words, I feel how my professional level has improved, so three years of study were worth it.”
The military chaplain of the Academy Father Gregory blessed the officers for the continuation of the successful road, sprinkling the officers with Holy Water.
And at the end of the celebrations, the soloist of the orchestra of the Academy Olga Polezhak congratulated the newly graduated officers with a musical composition filled with symbolic wishes of good, success and life well-being.
