Yurii Allerov: The part of the assistance that we received from the United States is already in the ATO area
About this, today, on the 29th of August, claimed the commander of the National Guard of Ukraine during a formal meeting with Senior Advisor of the United States on national security policy Coyt D. Hargus and advisor of the communication office NATO in Ukraine on security sector reform Lieutenant Colonel Yaroslav Pata.
The National Guard of Ukraine continues to develop, including through the assistance of the United States. This year we received substantial assistance from the United States and part of this assistance is already in the ATO zone. We are continuing the planned reforms and become more effective, lasting and strong, "Yurii Allerov said.
Coyt D Hargus emphasized, that the United States of America support the sovereignty of Ukraine and the right of Ukrainians to choose their future. He also underlined significant progress in reforming of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
"Today, Ukraine's defense forces have made significant progress and become more effective and this development continues. The National Guard of Ukraine, as an important component of the defense forces, is becoming stronger every day. We have been very impressed by your soldiers during to NGU units and we think it expedient to concentrate our efforts to further modernization of the National Guard "- he said.
The senior US advisor on national security policy also mentioned that the National Guard of Ukraine is on the right way in the sphere of public procurement.
"The National Guard of Ukraine has a lot of purchases through «ProZorro». This enables the people of Ukraine to see how their taxes are used "- he added.
