In Lviv region, police are looking for an attacker suspected of murder and attempted murder
On the territory of the region, a police special operation continues, law enforcement officers carry out a complex of operational and investigative measures to establish the place of stay and detain a 56-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region, involved in the commission of these crimes.
On March 1, around 21.25, the 102 operational line received a report that a shooting had occurred on Sadovaya Street in the city of Pustomyty, as a result of which two people were wounded — a young girl and a man.
An investigative and operational team, employees of the Criminal Investigation Department, the Department of Security Police, patrol officers, employees of other services and units of the police of Lviv region immediately went to the scene.
“The measures taken have established that around 21.00 on Sadovaya Street in Pustomyty, a 56-year-old resident of the Kharkiv region shot his acquaintance, a 22-year-old resident of the city of Yavoriv, in the head, and also wounded an eyewitness of the incident who rushed to the aid of the girl. The attacker escaped on a Volkswagen T5 minibus. A police operation has been introduced on the territory of Lviv region, employees of all police units of the Lviv region without exception, patrol police officers and employees of other services are involved in the search and arrest of the attacker”, - said the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Lviv region, Colonel Vasil of the National Police Window.
As a result of the injuries received, the girl died on the way to the hospital in an ambulance, and a 42-year-old resident of the Pustomitivsky district with a gunshot wound to the chest was hospitalized.
Shortly in the forest between the villages of Navariya and Porshna of the Pustomitivsky district, the police found a minibus on which the attacker fled.
Investigators opened criminal proceedings under Part 1 of Article 115 (premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine and Part 2 of Article 15, paragraph 1 of Part 2 of Article 115 (attempted murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The maximum penalty that threatens the attacker is life imprisonment.
Attention! On suspicion of murder and attempted murder, Tur Viktor Vasilyevich, born in 1963, a resident of Kharkiv region, is wanted. Signs: height about 170 cm, brown, wears a beard. He is dressed in a long brown leather jacket, navy blue sweater and dark pants.
