That’s what the meeting of deputy of Minister of the interior of Ukraine in European integration Anastasia Deeva with the members of researching Mission of Georgetown institute «Women, peace, security» (USA) was devoted.
Ministry of the interior of Ukraine initiated a creation of work group in the implementation of Resolution #1325 of UN Security Council called «World, women, security». According to the information of deputy of Minister of interior Anastasia Deeva, the group will include the representatives of NGO and international experts.
The representatives of Georgetown institute «Women, peace, security» (which is in the Georgetown University) also will participate in the process. A researching group of institute studies the experience of women participation in world «building» in conflict conditions. The researchers concentrate on studying of civil and state organizations’ activity.
Sides analyzed the realization of a National plan confirmed by Cabinet of Ministry of Ukraine due to the realization of Resolution #1325 of UN Security Council called «Women, peace, security» until the 2020 year.
Participants discussed the detailed plan of realization of UN Resolution #1325 and defined the key moments of the future cooperation.
«Gender equality and fighting against female violence are the priorities which MIA will work on together with OSCE, NATO, IREX (International research and exchange Board) and other international partners», – Anastasia Deeva stated at the end of the meeting.
