Arsen Avakov discussed with representatives of the US Department the combating Russian hybrid war (PHOTO)
Today, on April 17, the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine has held working meetings with the Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs Aaron Wess Mitchell and acting Deputy Assistant Secretary of State in the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) James Walsh.
"We have discussed with Mr. Mitchell the political issues, namely the plan for de-occupation of the Donbas and the cooperation of other countries with the aggressor country. And, I am grateful to the US Department for the hard, uncompromising position regarding the construction of Nord Stream 2. The reliability of international partners on this issue is an important component of the combating the Putin’s hybrid war together with the whole world!", Arsen Avakov said.
The Minister noted that together with James Walsh they had agreed on further joint plans regarding reform of the National Police of Ukraine. The cooperation will be mainly focused on the criminal block, combating drug-related crime and border security.
