Arsen Avakov: Ukrainian Pilots Are Already Training At The Training Center Of “Airbus” (PHOTO)
The Minister of Internal Affairs said it today, October 4, during a working visit to France.
The Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Serhiy Goncharov and the Head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, Mykola Chechotkin, attended a special pilot training center “Airbus”, where they talked with the Ukrainian pilots.
"At the moment, eight pilots are training in this center - representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. These are the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and the pilots of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. They are currently mastering the theoretical course, honing their skills in the simulation center and taking the course of practical flights. These pilots will become the basis for the maintenance center of the MIA aviation system, which will be in Ukraine ", - Arsen Avakov emphasized.
The Head of the State Emergency Service said that the acquisition of the H225 helicopters will expand the rescuers’ air component.
"Right now, our pilots are training in France. Two of them already have experience with the helicopter H145 type, and now they are training to operate the H225 type helicopter. And at the end of October, we will send more personnel which will be trained on the technical capabilities of these helicopters and it will deal with the maintenance of such helicopters. Training of our personnel is under the contract "- said Mykola Chechotkin.
Ukrainian pilots studying in France compared the work of Mi-8 and H225 Airbus types of helicopters. According to them, the H225 helps the crew during instrument flight or during rescue situations. It also allows to increase the efficiency of the tasks’ execution due to the modern equipment.
Recall that the working visit of Minister of Internal Affairs Arsen Avakov in France continues. The Head of the MIA has already visited the plant "Airbus Helicopters", where the order of Ukraine for manufacturing and supplying 55 helicopters of different types for the needs of the SES, the National Guard, the State Border Guard Service and the National Police will be fulfilled.
