Arsen Avakov: Ukraine will be represented inthe Interpol Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore (PHOTO)

This was discussed today, on October 29, during a meeting between the Minister of Internal Affairs of UkraineArsen Avakov andthe representatives of the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore. 

“Due to the fact that we carried out the reform, and we have connected to the Interpol base almost all of the border points, the data reconciliation is 100%. We may do it later than others, but we do it according to the latest technical standards. In order to be represented in such advanced centers as Singapore and to interact with you,” Arsen Avakov said.

 “The cooperation development with Interpol is our strategy. Now, we are represented by three police officers at the headquarters in Lyon, France. And this improves our security significantly. Our fourth representative from the cyber police in the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation in Singapore will bring us closer to high-tech safety standards,”said VasylNevolia, Head of the International Police Cooperation Department of the National Police of Ukraine.

In turn, Assistant Director of the Executive Office of the Interpol Global Complex for Innovation Vu Chor Ping acquainted the Ukrainian delegation with the organization of the work of the command coordination and cyber center of the institution.

“The center’s activities are aimed at combating cyberterrorism and cybercrime, as well as organized crime. These programs meet the needs and demands of the Interpol partner countries. Our main task is to quickly and securely exchange information through secure channels. To do this, we use a special Eye 24/7 system, which ensures the secure exchange of information between participants. We have 17 databases that includes 81 million different police documents. About 13 million searches are carried out every day,” she said.
