MIA will not participate in another Russian provocation and will not engage in violent clashes with the protesters.  The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine declared this on November 25.

The National Police and the National Guard will ensure the delivery of the accused to the court as soon as it will be technically possible.

"(Former President) Yanukovych has already provoked enough bloodshed and misery in Ukraine.  MIA will not take part in the next provocation of Moscow puppet and clash with the protesters.  Moreover, the point of view and the motives of these people we understand"- said Arsen Avakov.

Background information:
In the morning, former "berkutovtsy" (members of the disbanded special force unit "Berkut"), accused of shooting the Euromaidan activists, had to be moved from the remand centre to a session of Sviatoshynsky District Court of Kyiv.  During this session a video questioning of the former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych  had to be held.  Activists of a number of Ukrainian public organizations blocked the gates of the Luk'janovsky remand center.  They feared that after the court hearing the ex-"berkutovtsy" might be released from custody.

Update:

The court hearing was adjourned until November 28. Protesters stopped their action and left the entrance to the Luk’janovsky remand centre.
