Arsen Avakov: MIA aviation units will train with the tactical units of the California National Guard (PHOTOS)
The parties agreed on it during a meeting between the Minister of the Internal Affairs and California National Guard Commander David Baldwin.

Arsen Avakov emphasized that MIA is working on the development of the aviation component, so it is important for the units of the system to get familiar with the experience of the American partners.
"You know that we are developing the aviation component of our system. Therefore,it is very important for us to maintain communication with you in order to get some experience and knowledge," he said.
In his turn, David Baldwin proposed to start a partnership between the aviation units of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the California National Guard.
"If we are talking about cooperation in the field of aviation, then I would suggest that we set up a partnership between our aviation units,where it would be a direct partnership between the tactical units.We have an aviation battalion, which performs a number of tasks within the country - protection of national security. We can organize work at the level of our headquarters. We can tell how we work on the budget, tell about the planning of operations and maintenance, and also about the training programs for crews," he said.
In addition, a bilateral document has been signed, in which parties agreed to deepen cooperation in the field of state border protection, particularly, in combating cross-border crime, as well as in the field of the cyber defense.
In addition, the MIA and the CaliforniaNational Guard have agreed to discuss shelterissues for internally displaced persons,and also, to work out the mechanism of their returning home and infrastructurerestoration of Donbass.
